After testing both the Creative Labs Vado HD and the Pure Digital’s Flip HD, the Vado HD wins for 5 reasons:
1. The Creative Vado HD shows more details in low light recording.
2. The Creative Vado HD has superior color saturation, especially in low incandescent light. The Flip went gray.
3. The Creative Vado HD has a wide angle lens and one can hold it in their hand and video themselves clearly, the Flip HD has to be at least a meter away, so your face is blurry.
4. The Flip HD freezes up frequently.
5. The Creative Vado HD has removable lithium ion batteries. The Flip HD has unremovable batteries.
We recommend the Vado HD by Creative Labs over the Flip.
